CHEESE STONE PEDESTAL ASSORTED, LG

Cheese Stone is crafted from a special Indonesian stone called Romano Fosse Travertine. This is a prized material that is identical to that found in the old quarry of Bernini in Guidonia, Italy. The same stone that was used to build the famous Colonnade of St. Peter’s Square in Rome in the mid-seventeenth century. Travertine is found in special geothermic regions of the world. Indonesia is one of those places, and we lovingly carve these spheres from those pieces that have interesting character and pitting.
