GROVE SKETCH 1

Grove Sketch is an immersive three-part series of graphite compositions on textured paper. In Grove Sketch 1, a thin grouping of trees in the forefront draws the eye before subtly giving way to a nearby mountain range. Throughout the piece, falling leaves, shaded outlines, and bare branches are suggestive of late autumn. Along the ground, tree roots and blades of grass are used to carefully complete the quiet forest imagery. The hushed tones and subtle details within Grove Sketch 1 work beautifully against a soft pastel grey background. A mesmerizing addition to the carefully curated ART by TA collection.
